On each day after that different aspects about Maa are worshipped including Mata Brahmacharini ,Mata Chandraghanta ,Mata Kushmanda , Mata Skandamata etc culminating on Ashtami where people observe fast throughout the day until midnight when they break it by consuming Prasad offered at temples .
